The stamp is called “Ship” by Our Daily Bread Designs and I colored it with Copic markers. I embossed the blue cardstock with a Tim Holtz distressed folder. The sentiment is from “Handwritten Notes” by Avery Elle.

Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge at OWH for March
This is my card for the Our Daily Bread Design Challenge on the Operation Write Home blog for March.
The background is created by squishing Distress Ink pads in Barn Door, Festive Berries and Worn Lipstick onto a craft sheet, spritzing the ink with water to form puddles, then laying a piece of watercolor paper into the liquid. Dry the paper then continue laying it into the wet color and drying each layer until you are happy.
I use Barn Door Distress Ink with the Simon Says Stamp – Mosaic Heart Stencil to create the heart and added a light layer of Black Soot Distress Ink around the edges of the stencil to help define it.
The greeting is from the Hero Arts – You’re a Winner stamp set (a fundraiser set for OWH) which was inked with My Favorite Things Black Licorice then fussy cut and attached with pop-dots.
The card front was attached to a base made with 110lb Neenah Solar White cardstock and the edges were with ink with Black Soot.
Thanks for stopping by!
